Behavior analysis is a scientific study of behavior that seeks to understand and explain the behavior of individuals and groups. My job as a behavior analyst involves observing and measuring behavior, identifying environmental factors that influence behavior, and developing strategies to modify behavior. Behavior analysis aims to improve the quality of life by helping individuals acquire new skills, reduce problem behaviors, and achieve greater independence.
As the Executive Director and Founder of Behavior Care Center (BCC), I bring over seven years of experience in behavior intervention and more than 13 years of dedication to working with individuals across a diverse range of ages and needs. I founded BCC with a clear mission: to deliver high-quality services that transform lives by fostering positive behavioral change and enhancing communication for school-aged children and adults with special needs, as well as their families.
I am a Bilingual Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), holding a Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. My expertise is further strengthened by my certifications as a Project ImPACT Coach and Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) Levels I & II. This comprehensive background allows me to offer a multifaceted approach to behavior support.
My international upbringing, having lived in various countries, has profoundly shaped my understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures and languages. This unique perspective enriches my ability to connect with and effectively serve clients from all backgrounds. Furthermore, my personal experiences as a wife and mother have instilled a deep sense of compassion and understanding, which I integrate into every aspect of my service delivery.
Through the application of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Project ImPACT, and Pivotal Response Training, I've had the privilege of helping hundreds of clients develop crucial skills in communication, social interaction, and the formation of meaningful relationships. I particularly cherish my roles as a parent trainer and behavior consultant. In these capacities, I guide caregivers in deciphering their loved ones' behavior and understanding their unique modes of communication. Beyond direct intervention, I also provide valuable support to parents and caregivers throughout the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process and offer school consultation services. Additionally, I provide behavior consultation for adults residing with their families or in residential homes, helping to create supportive and effective environments.
I welcome the opportunity to connect with you to explore how I can support you and your loved ones on your journey.Â
